1mb SAMS card in sidecar format for use with TIPI
SuperAMS (Super Asgard Memory System, a.k.a. SAMS card) was one of the first "memory expansion" cards designed for the TI-99/4A. It was designed around 1993 by Asgard Inc, under the management of Jim Krych. Its elegant simplicity is due to the fact that it's build around the 74LS612 memory mapper, once commonly used in PCs and in Nintendo game cartridges.
This model has been redesigned to fit in a sidecar format and includes the 44pin header for the TIPI to plug in directly. It also can use the same external power supply as the jedimatt 32k sidecar with the optional adapter. It fits in the same cases that the 32k sidecar fit in.. PCB is the same dimensions.
You may be able to make this work with other sidecar devices with a pin-cardedge connector but this is not supported by the designer or arcadeshopper.com in any way.. ymmv
